Kevin has been our agent for the past several years. Recently, in spite of the various insurance problems in the State of Florida, Kevin (Hillcrest) has literally saved Waterman Communities, Inc., hundreds of thousands of dollars! Two policies specifically come to mind: (1) Kevin was able to find us professional liability coverage when it was virtually unobtainable for our industry (and recently, our professional liability Insurance costs have been reduced by approx. 26%); (2) our property insurance premiums have been reduced by nearly 25%, with a corresponding increase in coverage of nearly 100%! Being as insurance is a highly competitive market, I was surprise at the lack of customer service I was getting when asking questions and waiting for responses for our insurance needs. When I called Kevin McEwen at Hillcrest Insurance, I was responded to within the same day, had an appointment within the week and a proposal shortly after that. Good Morning Kevin: Mary and I have lived in Florida for twelve years. Six as snow birds while wintering in Bonita Springs and six living here in Mount Dora full time. As a retired businessman I have always been willing to spend whatever time is required to stay on top and understand all the things I should. I have finally realized that as I get older some things are being made more and more difficult. I am sure it is not because I have lost any of my ability to understand and administer things like: Car Insurance Home Owners Insurance Liability Insurance My Investments My golf handicap The TV remote control Well maybe I have lost some of my ability. When my grandkids visit I get them to retrain me on my cell phone and TV remote. Since their last visit I can send a text and I have a new ring tone. Next visit I will get then to teach me how to take a picture with my cell phone and even send it someone. Am I good or what. Wow! In my quest to make my life a little simpler I found myself getting information about my Insurance Carriers from the television or radio. This was not helping to simply my life. I was hearing things like: Are they planning to drop me? Where do I go from here? Since I became more and more concerned about my insurance needs I decided to look for a better agency. This concern brought me to you, You now have my Homeowners Insurance, my auto insurance and my liability insurance. Since moving my insurance needs to your Agency I find my self getting information from you before I hear it on the Television or Radio. Imagine that! After being with your Agency for one year and transferring all my insurance needs to you I have adopted my new simply my life strategy. You have convinced me that I no longer need to worry about my insurance. You said that is your job and I am glad you have accepted it.
